Our Story
I’m Ilana—originally from sunny Los Angeles, now splitting my time between Florida and Minnesota with my husband and our three kids. Wigs and hair pieces have been a meaningful part of my life for over a decade, both personally and professionally.
I wear hair every day for religious reasons, so I learned early on what makes a piece truly comfortable, natural, secure, and wearable for real life. My mother-in-law started Caring & Comfort over 20 years ago as a welcoming wig showroom for cancer and alopecia patients in Minneapolis. When I joined her, I discovered I had a natural eye and intuition for lace work, construction, and what creates a realistic, beautiful piece. I brought in new techniques, modern lace technology, and a deeper focus on craftsmanship, eventually taking over the business as she began her retirement.
Since then, creating custom wigs and hairpieces has become my passion and purpose. I’ve worked with thousands of women, helping them navigate hair loss, medical journeys, changing hairlines, and the emotional side of looking in the mirror and wanting to feel like themselves again.
